Here is a random thing I wrote the other day:
"A joke is understood between the two parties involved. If only one side understands it as a joke, can it truly be a joke? Is a joke's reality dependent upon the understanding of both intended parties? If the one side does not understand it as a joke is that the fault of the offending party, the offended party's fault, or is the fault found within the joke itself?"
:D
Later I will show you my ridiculous conversation with my friend concerning sweet potatoes.
I am going to be an annoying person and it will be wonderful.

That's great, Naomi! One of my good friends in college was a philosophy minor and it was interesting stuff helping him study. Have fun!

Ha! (claps hands over head loudly) We look forward to having you in the club.
... Sorry; Joan's not here, but I could only imagine her reaction too well.

I deconstructed my friends argument about sweet potatoes. She told me to stop going to college. It as wonderful.

Because I am tired and slightly sick, I have elected to blame you entirely for her absence. For no other reasons then because I can. Either that or her children, because according to my parents, it's usually the children's fault. That is probably the only reasons why I would have children, so that I could blame them for everything. OR! do sociological experiments on them. Mahahahaha >:)
Ahem. *whistles innocently*

Ooh! Tell me about this! I love sweet potatoes. When I first incorporated my freelance writing/editing/cartooning/design business, it was called Sweet Potato Studios, although I later changed the name so that it would be the same as the publishing division and (real-world concern) earlier in the alphabet for catalog placement. How fantastic are sweet potatoes? They did not take offense at this action.
